GUIDELINE TO YOGA CLASSES

  • Allow yourself some time to get ready for class.
  • Yoga is best practiced on an empty stomach. Wait two hours after a meal or one hour after light snack.
  • Wear comfortable, lightweight clothing such as shorts, tee-shirts, and stretchy workout wear. Ashtanga yoga is a vigorous practice, be prepared to perspire.
  • Inform the teacher before class if you have any serious health problem such as neck, back, or joint injuries.
  • Bring yoga mat (if you have) and an average-size towel.
  • For the comfort of others, please refrain from wearing perfume or cologne.
  • Please turn off handphones before entering the studio.
  • Ladies should not do practice during menses flow. it can disrupt or stop menses. If insisting on practicing, inverted postures are to be avoided.
  • If you must leave class early, take a few minutes rest in savasana (corpse pose) and leave before the rest of the class begins savasana in order to avoid disrupting their resting time.
