4-Week Course (2 x week) bringing light on the traditional practice of Ashtanga Yoga known as Mysore Style.

Ashtanga Mysore is known as an individual practice in a group setting. Guided by a series of postures, adjusted accordingly to individual needs and predispositions, every practitioner learns how to discover their own bodies and how to flow by connecting the movement with the breath.

The course is limited to 6 participants only.

>>> HOW:

In this 4-Week Ashtanga Mysore Introductory Course, you will learn and understand the principles of Traditional Ashtanga Mysore practice as taught by Sharath Jois in Mysore, India.

The course will consist of 6 classes, 75 minutes each and two Mysore classes.


There will be a short theoretical part in each class covering the topics of Sanskrit names of the postures and traditional count. We will uncover the meaning behind the opening and closing mantra, speak about the tristhana method and others.

In the practical part of the course, you will become familiar with the ‘deep breathing with sound’ method as well as learn how to discover the ‘bandhas’ and find your ‘drishti.’ Each student will be individually guided through the practice of standing and closing postures. You will learn the benefits of the postures as well as the correct alignment, regarding to your body type.


Male and female, everyone who wants to learn this powerful method of Yoga. Complete beginners are welcome as well as those who already practiced other styles of Yoga.

We kindly advice that early pregnancy is not a right moment to begin your journey with Ashtanga Yoga.
